Every creative professional has to face the "Blank Page" in the beginning of every project. Artists and designers have to create something from nothing. A white page is the beginning of something great. It can represent an unborn idea, a piece of art, a design item. It symbolizes potential and ambition. Especially for an institution like Pratt, that is specializing in Art & Design, the "Blank Page" is the perfect visual tool to communicate unlimited potential and future creativity. It shows artistic and creative spirit, without showing anything!
A human hand can start drawing on a pack of white pages. Each design is part of the Pratt logo, so when the camera zooms out, the viewer can see the "big picture", the whole logo.
Another idea which uses the "Blank Page" or a plain canvas, would be to fill the city with plain canvases and white pages. Ordinary urban scenery, can be "decorated" with this plain white surface. The "Blank Page" can be a clean white sheet of paper, a blank canvas, a new, unwritten computer document.
